Small Accomplishments

I feel the need to only blog when something important happens. If that were so, there is good reason why we haven't blogged in awhile. So instead let me share some small accomplishments I've achieved over the past two weeks.

I made cinnamon rolls with YEAST! Yeast you say??? Yes, yeast!!!! It's the first time ever I got the yeast to rise. I was very proud and even though Brad only ate one, my friends gobbled them down. And I ate like 6, so I think they turned out.

I painted this for Brooklyn's room. Don't notice that the middle bunny's ears are coming out of the side of it's head.

I made this wreath for only 4 dollars!!! Go festive thrifty me!

I've read a couple more books.

I'm preparing for St. Joesph's High Schools Production of School House Rock Live. I know, I know, I promised myself I would do anymore choreography gigs, but I guess they seemed pretty desperate. And hey who doesn't want "Conjunction Junction" and "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly get your Adverbs Here" in their head all day long?

Also, this isn't a accomplishment, but something I'm REALLY excited about!! We are going to Costa Rica in month!!! Beaches, Seafood, Canopy Tours, Snorkeling, and Monkeys. Brooklyn will be eating alot of sand, but she'll be getting her minerals.

Pictures for fun!

In my defense, I actually ate 2 cinnamon rolls. I would have eaten more, but I had to rush to school in the morning.

I can't believe I missed out on the cinnamon rolls! Congratulations Celeste, yeast is a scary thing until you make friends with it. The wreath is totally cute. If you help us make those I could hang it outside my door here in the ghetto because it only costs $4 and it wouldn't be that bad if it got stolen.

You're cruel to talk about cinnamon rolls and include a picture when it's fast Sunday. You didn't even mention the turkey you cooked, you're turning into a Renaissance woman. Good luck with School House Rock.

I'm glad I was able to partake. Happy December.

Just a couple books-eh? Good job on the cinnamon rolls-I want one! They look good. I love the picture of Brooklyn in her carseat-toooo cute!!! I am so jealous of Costa Rica, sounds like fun. I miss you-this time of year, especially! Remember when you house-sat at Christmastime our Senior year-good memories!

Celeste, I am really proud of your wreath! For 4 dollars! You are amazing! I wish I was that crafty for one, and that I could make something look that good at that price. Thats why I usually don't even try...you're awesome

So, I'm pretty sure you just made almost all of that up, because the cinnamon rolls picture looks like it is from a bakery and the wreath looks way too professional to be made by anything other than machine.

If any part of this post IS true, I hope it is the Costa Rica part. Congratulations on that! What a beautiful country!

Well...you give a girl a baby and some extra time and look what happens!! Quite the little homemaker Celeste! Everything looked very good, and cute. I can't wait till we come to visit you and you have all these cute things up in your house, and good smeelling and tasting goodies for me to eat. Have fun with the play...it loooks like a lot of fun. Oh and guess what? I just finished reading Twilight! Yes....just the first one, but it was very good!
