My Baby Broken!

Saturday, Hunter was playing with a swim noodle. Next we know Brooklyn has the swim noodle and Hunter is on the floor screaming. We couldn't find any cuts, bruises, bumps, broken bones, so with didn't think much of it. He kept crying through the rest on the day and Sunday morning unless one of us was holding him. He wasn't using his left arm much. So I took him to urgent care- they sent us to get a x-ray and this is what we saw!

A broken collar bone!! Oh the horror!! Poor little guy. They say it's a common injury and it will heal fast. He is in a little makeshift sling, cause there isn't one small enough. He acts like it's not even there. He is crawling around on it, putting wieght on it. You wouldn't even know he had a broken bone.

I'm so thankful for our amazing bodies that heal themselves.

Brooklyn getting her picture too.

By the way- Two dumb places to put your cell phone:
The washing machine.
The library book drop.

i can't believe he broke his collar bone....and I mostly can't believe that you actually have a swim noodle ;) DO you melt the snow and then try swimming in it? Just kidding!

Love the heart shaped glasses too...such a beauty!

Poor guy! I'm glad it'll heal! One dumb place to put your MTC ID:
the food tray on the conveyer belt on the way to the dish room

He's a tough kiddo, just like his old man!

Oh no! That x-ray scares me! How can something that looks like that heal so quickly? Just amazing.

I'm glad we're not the only parents that wait a day and a half to take their kids to the ER when they've broken a bone! :) We did the same thing when Will pulled his dresser down on top of himself and broke his collar bone.

Wow! What a clear x-ray. When Will and Asher had theirs it was like, "Is that a person in this picture"? Anyway, glad he is happy. Those little kids never let things get them down.
