1st Birthday

Brooklyn had her first birthday this weekend.

It was lots of fun. Grandma Baillio gave her some fun books and a "see and say". Man those things are so advanced now! Mom got her a cute play stroller. She loved it. Dad got her some board books which we read together at night. Her friends got her more books, a chair, bubbles, and other fun stuff. It was a fun party and we're so happy that everyone could make it, despite the weather. It has been an exciting year for us as a fledgling family. We're excited for the next one.

Oh Brooklyn, your hair has grown since you were at Grandma Barrand's house. It's so pretty, you look all grown up! Happy birthday little Baillio!

Sorry that Zach and I intruded in the video so much. Me trying to make sure she didn't grab the candle and Zach trying to blow out the candle. I like the little dance that Brooklyn does during the singing.

That is one lucky and blessed child to have parents like you and digital cameras to record her every move. Thanks for doing such a great job with our granddaughter. Wished we could have been there.

I can't believe she is already 1! That went by fast. You made a great Cinderella. My brother Austin was just in Into The Woods-he was Rapunzel's Prince-trip down memory lane, anyone?!!
